The new season of “The Voice Kids” starts in March, with an innovation: 18 celebrities will deliver the invitations.

The Sat.1 show “The Voice Kids” is breaking new ground. As the broadcaster announced on Friday, there will be a decisive innovation in the eleventh season, which starts in March. A total of 18 different stars will invite the participating children and young people personally and via video message to the “Blind Auditions”. These include BVB star Marco Reus, UK star Calum Scott, tennis ace Alexander Zverev, Bill and Tom Kaulitz, singer Max Giesinger and moderator Matthias Opdenhövel.

In the new season, the already experienced coaches Lena Meyer-Landrut, Alvaro Soler, Wincent Weiss, Michi Beck and Smudo will once again take a seat on the famous swivel chairs. This year not only children from Germany, Austria and Switzerland will take part, but also talents from Ireland, England, Belgium, Ukraine and Spain. The first episode airs on Friday evening, March 10, from 8:15 p.m. on Sat.1.

Also present: the TikToks stars Elevator Boys, actor Emilio Sakraya, star chef Nelson Müller, basketball player Johannes Thiemann, presenter Enie van de Meiklokjes, singer Nina Chuba, musician Michael Schulte, pop singer Alexander Eder and the former “The Voice Kids” – Winner Egon Werler. The show will be moderated by Melissa Khalaj and Thore Schölermann.
