This year’s “Celebrity Big Brother” season ends on December 4th. Who has a chance of winning?

The finale of “Celebrity Big Brother” (from 8:15 p.m. on Sat.1). The offshoot of the reality TV show “Big Brother” started with its celebrity edition in 2013. In addition to the regular TV shows, there were this year also a 24-hour live stream on Joyn Plus+, which, according to Sat.1, showed around 390 hours of “Celebrity Big Brother.” Dilara Kruse (32) had to leave the house shortly before the finale of the eleventh season, and now five candidates are still fighting for victory.

The finalists

After around two weeks, the remaining residents of the “PBB” house have to pack their bags. Who will win and thus the 100,000 euros in prize money? Perhaps the social media following or the opinions of the finalists could provide insight.

Matthias Mangiapane (40), who was sent directly to the final by container boss Paulina before the last nomination, goes into the final with around 95,000 Instagram followers. He “clearly appreciates Marco the most” for the victory, as he revealed in the Sat.1 interview before the final. “He’s a really great boy. I respect him very much. He came out as gay here in the container to the whole of Germany. That takes a lot of courage and strength.” He himself “rarely showed my soft sides, my social side and my lovable nature and feelings on television the way I did here. I acted from my heart and cried a lot – which I always try to do suppress. I was just Matthias, the way he is.”

Pop singer Peter Klein (56) is followed by 182,000 people on Instagram. “Apart from me, I would like Yeliz to win the most,” he says. The roommate showed greatness in the house. “She has gone far beyond her limits. She is actually very shy, but she has shown here that she can be a woman.”

Reality TV actress Paulina Ljubas (26; 382,000 followers) is looking forward to Tommy, my boyfriend, who I miss completely, after the “PBB” period. Also to my dog and my everyday life and my birthday on the 6th. December.” She begrudges victory to “everyone here now. But most of all to Matthias. […] I think it’s great that he not only showed his dramatic side here, but also his sensitive and calm side.” She herself learned in the format “to face my fears, to be vulnerable, sensitive and maybe even boring at times to show. I hope I brought joy to the viewers.”

Social media star and wildcard winner Marco Schlitzer (21) has 620,000 followers. After the TV container, he is most looking forward to “my boyfriend and my family. I think it will be a much nicer relationship with them now – also because I have come out.” He would begrudge his roommate Matthias the victory the most. “He is a very important and trusted person for me here in the house. He is open and direct. Not many people dare to do that in TV formats like this. I think that’s really cool about him.” He himself “experienced so many cool and emotional moments in the house and that’s why I would think it would be great if I won the win this year.”

Reality star Yeliz Koc (30) has 663,000 followers behind her. She would actually have liked Dilara Kruse to win the most, but now she would be happy about the victory herself: “I’ve never experienced what it feels like to win something. […] Hearing your name, knowing that people have called for you because they want you to win from the bottom of their hearts – that’s a dream I can imagine. That would show me that I am good the way I am.”

More “Big Brother” after the finale

After the finale, which is presented as usual by Marlene Lufen (52) and Jochen Schropp (45), things continue with “PBB”. Streaming star Jens “Knossi” Knossalla (37) has announced that there will be another round after the end of the season broadcast on TV. His “Big Brother: Knossi Edition” will start on December 12th (12 p.m.), a good week after the finale of the regular show. The encore will not be shown on television, but on the streaming portal Twitch. Highlight clips will be available on Joyn. And unlike the TV format, the “Knossi Edition” doesn’t even run for three days, more precisely 57 hours. A “Celebrity Big Brother” candidate will then return to the container. “I will be moving back into the ‘Big Brother’ house on December 14th. My dear friend Knossi invited me,” explained TV and party hit personality Jürgen Milski (60) in an interview with spot on news.

There will be further “Big Brother” content in spring 2024. Then the normal season of the reality show returns. The new season will be shown on Joyn in a live stream and in summaries; the TV experiment will then extend over 100 days, as before.
