Celebrities: Terence Hill now also has a German passport – Panorama

The Italian Terence Hill is now also German, Stefanie Stappenbeck led a gang with strange initiation rituals, and Jeff Bridges trained steadfastness for his daughter’s wedding.

Terence Hill, 83, actor, is now also German. “I am happy that I now have this ID”, he said the picture-Newspaper and is referring to his new German passport. “My wonderful mother and thus also my mother tongue have always been formative for me. It is also a commitment to my roots.” According to the report, Hill, who became known for his roles as an Italo-Western hero, had the document issued in the USA: “I received it from the German Consul General in Los Angeles.” His mother’s marriage certificate was required for the passport, which he received in Lommatzsch near Dresden. Hill, who also has an Italian passport, still speaks fluent German to this day.

Stephanie Stappenbeck, 48, actress, was once part of one of the smallest gangs in the world. In her school days she founded a clique, but it consisted of only two people: her school friend Romy and Stappenbeck herself. She told the German Press Agency. “It was called ‘BB18’ and if you wanted to get in, you had to do scary things as an initiation ritual. Like eating worms with your eyes closed – well, it was spaghetti.” Unfortunately, it only stayed with the two members. But at least they had each other: “We were both equally interested in politics, books and absurdities.”

Jeff Bridges, 72, US actor, was training for his daughter’s wedding. “The first goal was to be able to stand longer”, he told the British Independent. About two years ago, Bridges was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a form of cancer that made his health worse. At first it was only possible for him to stand for a maximum of 45 seconds. But with the help of a therapist, he was able to take more and more steps. “At some point I realized that not only could I walk down the aisle, I could do the wedding dance,” Bridges said. “That was great.”
