Gordon Ramsay, 57, British TV chef, has uninvited guests. At least six squatters had taken up residence in one of his luxury restaurants in central London and barricaded the doors, reported Newspaper Sun. It was a nightmare for the star restaurateur, the paper quoted an unnamed source as saying. The pub at Regent’s Park was temporarily closed. The “squatters”, presumably professionally organized, would have used this time to get into the building. Police told the British news agency PA that they had no action as it was a civil matter. Occupying property that is not used as a residential property without the owner’s permission is not a criminal offense in the UK.

Sofia, 85, Queen of Spain, has been released from a hospital in Madrid. She was taken to the Ruber Internacional clinic on Tuesday because of a urinary tract infection. After her discharge, she told waiting journalists outside the hospital on Saturday that she felt “very good,” “phenomenal” and “like new,” state TV station RTVE reported. She is looking forward to her home. Sofía attended a funeral in Madrid on Monday with her husband, former king Juan Carlos.
