An invitation to a party via social media led to chaotic conditions and a police operation in the Swabian district of Aichach-Friedberg. The private event in Mering got completely out of control, the police said on Sunday.
Originally, two 16-year-old siblings had planned a celebration with about 20 people in their parents’ house. But due to an unexpected invitation via social media, around 150 young people suddenly turned up on Saturday.
According to the police, it looks like someone else wrote the invitation. According to the police, the situation escalated. Seven patrol cars went out to break up the celebration. The father of the siblings was informed about the incident and reportedly found the house in a desolate condition. Waste and other objects were also found within a radius of about 300 meters.
