Two and a half years after the disappearance of Delphine Jubillar, the investigation is coming to an end. Indicted for “murder of a spouse”, the nurse’s husband, Cédric, still maintains his innocence. His mother, Nadine Jubillar, testifies exclusively and for the first time in “Special Envoy”.
Certain passages of his hearing, of which “Special Envoy” was able to consult the minutes, highlight the doubts of Nadine Jubillar at that time. To the question “Do you think that your son could be responsible for the disappearance of Delphine?”, She answers, in tears: “It pains me to say it, but… yes.”
The investigators make him repeat a sentence which weighs heavily in the charges accumulated against Cédric Jubillar.
In the hope that she manages to make him confess, the night following this hearing, the investigators confront Cédric Jubillar with his mother. Nadine begs her son, “for Elyah, for Louis [les enfants du couple Jubillar] for Delphine, for Delphine’s family, to tell the truth”. Her response: “I didn’t do anything, mum.”
