Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov called on the Russian army to use “low-yield nuclear weapons” in Ukraine on Saturday. “In my opinion, more drastic measures should be taken, up to and including the imposition of martial law in the border areas and the use of low-yield nuclear weapons,” Kadyrov told Telegram.

The Ukrainian ambassador Andriy Melnyk also called for strength towards the Russian leadership: “In order to prevent Putin from launching a nuclear attack, Germany should finally act preventively with allies and give the Kremlin tyrant a clear and unequivocal ultimatum,” the diplomat wrote on Twitter.
