The Cannes Film Festival will take place this year from May 16 and 27 under the jury presidency of Ruben Östlund, with Chiara Mastroianni as mistress of ceremonies. The films in competition, the other selections, the stars to watch… What we know at this stage.

Selections from the Quinzaine des cinéastes and Acid

With nineteen films for the Quinzaine des cinéastes (formerly Directors’ Fortnight) and nine in the Acid selection, the Cannes Film Festival is completing its parallel sections. Each year, the Cannes Film Festival presents blockbuster-type event films out of competition, such as Top Gun: Maverick in 2022.
