The cast of “Superman: Legacy” continues to grow: “Castle” star Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced and Edi Gathegi join the DC film.

The cast of James Gunn’s (56) highly anticipated new superhero film “Superman: Legacy” continues to grow. After newcomer David Corenswet (30) as the title character Clark Kent/Superman and “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” star Rachel Brosnahan (33) as reporter Lois Lane had previously been reported, there is now also news about the supporting cast of the film. The actor Nathan Fillion (52), known from the ABC series “Castle”, among other things, becomes part of “Superman: Legacy”. embody the character Guy Gardner, according to Vanity Fair.

These New Cast Members Are Joining Superman: Legacy

In the DC template comics, Guy Gardner is one of the people known as the Green Lantern superhero. In addition to Fillion, Isabela Merced (“Dora und die goldene Stadt”, 22) and Edi Gathegi (“Startup”, 44) also take on other roles. Young actress Merced plays Hawkgirl, a winged superheroine who prefers to use medieval weapons such as swords or clubs.
