Since the big name is missing, she doesn’t think more than 2,800 to 3,000 euros is possible. The sisters want to try it anyway and accept the dealer card.

The brooch is met with enthusiasm among dealers. The auction gets off to a promising start, Lisa Nüdling offers 2000 euros straight away. Julian Schmitz-Avila is against it, but he doesn’t get more than his highest bid of 3,000 euros. After all: the upper limit of the estimated value has been reached. The sisters agree to the sale.
