Covid-19 cases started to rise again last week in Europe after ten consecutive weeks of decline, the European branch of the World Health Organization (WHO) announced on Thursday, warning of a risk of a new wave.
“There will be a new wave in the European region, unless we stay disciplined,” WHO Europe director Hans Kluge said during an online press briefing.
