The victim, who escaped without being injured, was transported conscious and unmedicalized to Pasteur 2 hospital, the emergency services said. In total, eleven firefighters and four machines were mobilized for this operation which took place at sea, 150 m from the edge, at the level of the centenary beach.

The young woman, “terrorized and in hypothermia”, had been able to cling to a tarpaulin on which she was found, said at Nice morning firefighters who participated in his rescue. According to the regional daily, she only speaks Spanish and explained that she was sleeping in a tent under a Paillon bridge with her husband and a friend, who had been able to free themselves before being carried away.
