Carl-Clemens Veltins: The disinherited descendant wants his millions – economy

Carl-Clemens Veltins crashed cars, snorted cocaine and stole weapons; his mother had disinherited him. Now he is suing his sisters to get their hands on the assets.

Carl-Clemens Veltins was certainly not always a model son. The descendant of the North Rhine-Westphalia Veltins brewing dynasty stole pistols and rifles from his mother’s gun cabinet in order to sell them off. He took cars from the family fleet and crashed them without a license. At the age of 22, he had accumulated one million marks in debt and is said to have stocked up on grenades, mines and rapid-fire weapons from Russian officers. He was constantly making money and snorting cocaine. But does that mean you have to disinherit the boy straight away?
