Increased wages, higher general costs and chronic underfunding could soon lead to the closure of Caritas childcare facilities in Munich and Upper Bavaria. The board member of the Caritas Diocesan Association, Gabriele Stark-Angermeier, pointed this out. At a press conference in the Caritas kindergarten in Puchheim near Munich, she criticized the prioritization in the Bavarian budget and called on the Bavarian state government to make more resources available for child care.
