In the district of Landsberg am Lech, they want to lure former nurses back to old people’s homes and clinics. A new position will be created especially for the project. But for this to succeed, more than just the caregivers themselves have to move.
You may be frustrated, overworked or have long since found a completely different job outside of care – Landsberg am Lech still wants you back. The district is currently launching a major charm offensive towards former nurses. People who have given up work in hospitals or nursing homes or who have reduced hours should be encouraged to come back. “We will advertise in newspapers, on our own website and at events,” says District Administrator Thomas Eichinger. Every single new position counts.
