Cardano has become the most developed project. According to GitHub, it is ahead of projects like Polkadot, Ethereum, Decentraland and Chainlink.
With Cardano’s upcoming upgrades, Cardano has more updates on GitHub than any other project.
Input Output, the developer of Cardano, posted on Twitter that during Valentine’s Day Cardano will be making a major upgrade called the Valentine (SECP) Upgrade to make Cardano’s blockchain interoperable. More and more developed dApp cross-chain transactions in partnership with Plutus.
The upgrade will be tested first on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 12:00 noon (UTC), and the Valentine upgrade will begin on February 14, 2023.
The Valentine upgrade will not have a significant impact on existing dApps, IOG, Cardano Foundation or EMURGO. SPOs, dApps and Exchanges) are ready for this new upgrade.
When Valentine is upgraded, Exchange, dApps will also need to be updated to the new protocol.
