Sibylle Canonica, Juliane Köhler and Charlotte Schwab can now call themselves “Bavarian State Actresses”. “The three exceptional artists have touched and inspired the audience in numerous roles for many years,” said Minister of Art Markus Blume at the appointment after a theater performance in the Marstall. The title “Bavarian State Actor” is awarded by the Ministry of Art at the suggestion of the Bavarian State Theater. In addition to outstanding artistic achievements, a prerequisite is at least five years’ membership of the Bavarian State Theater as a member of the ensemble or as part of regular guest appearances.
