Screaming fans welcome Johnny Depp

The Cannes Film Festival has opened. Numerous celebrities, including Johnny Depp, honored themselves on the red carpet.

The Cannes International Film Festival has opened. From today, May 16th to May 27th, the entire film world will once again be looking to the south of France. At the opening of the 76th festival, the historical drama “Jeanne du Barry” with Johnny Depp (59), which does not take part in the competition, will be shown. The Hollywood star also personally attended the spectacle on Tuesday evening.

Depp, who starred in the film Louis XV, showed up on the red carpet. (1710-1774) embodied, among other things, alongside the main actress and director Maïwenn (47) and his co-stars – including Pierre Richard (88) and the young German actress Pauline Pollmann. Depp was received by numerous screaming fans who, among other things, absolutely wanted to snap a photo of him, reports the US industry magazine “Variety”. The German director Wim Wenders (77) is represented with “Perfect Days”, Wes Anderson (54) with his ensemble film “Asteroid City”, in which Tom Hanks (66), Scarlett Johansson (38) and Tilda Swinton (62) play along
