Screaming fans welcome Johnny Depp
Johny Depp apparently thanking waiting fans after arriving at the Cannes Film Festival.

The Cannes Film Festival has opened. Numerous celebrities, including Johnny Depp, honored themselves on the red carpet.
The Cannes International Film Festival has opened. From today, May 16th to May 27th, the entire film world will once again be looking to the south of France. At the opening of the 76th festival, the historical drama “Jeanne du Barry” with Johnny Depp (59), which does not take part in the competition, will be shown. The Hollywood star also personally attended the spectacle on Tuesday evening.
Depp, who starred in the film Louis XV, showed up on the red carpet. (1710-1774) embodied, among other things, alongside the main actress and director Maïwenn (47) and his co-stars – including Pierre Richard (88) and the young German actress Pauline Pollmann. Depp was received by numerous screaming fans who, among other things, absolutely wanted to snap a photo of him, reports the US industry magazine “Variety”. There were calls of “Johnny, Johnny, Johnny”.

Accompanied by his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones (53) and his daughter Carys (20), Michael Douglas (78) was also there, who was awarded the Golden Palm of Honor during the opening gala. In addition, stars such as Helen Mirren (77), Emilia Schüle (30), Emmanuelle Béart (59), Catherine Deneuve (79), Pom Klementieff (37), Uma Thurman (53) with her son Levon (21) and Mads Mikkelsen (57), who had brought his wife Hanne with him, past the countless photographers. Just like the top models Alessandra Ambrosio (42) and Naomi Campbell (52) and jury members like President Ruben Östlund (49) and “Marvel” star Brie Larson (33).
In the coming days, director legend Martin Scorsese (80) will also present his latest work “Killers of the Flower Moon”, starring Leonardo DiCaprio (48), outside of the competition. 21 film productions compete for the Palme d’Or. The German director Wim Wenders (77) is represented with “Perfect Days”, Wes Anderson (54) with his ensemble film “Asteroid City”, in which Tom Hanks (66), Scarlett Johansson (38) and Tilda Swinton (62) play along
