Not only rapper Sido invests in the medical cannabis business. Other German celebrities such as Klaas Heufer-Umlauf or Stephanie Giesinger also want to benefit from the planned legalization in Germany. In the US, it’s rappers like Snoop Dogg or Jay-Z who are banking on the cannabis business.
In Germany, a two-pillar model is planned: CARe stands for “Club cultivation & regional model”. The first pillar provides, among other things, that adults should be allowed to possess a maximum of 25 grams of cannabis for their own consumption and to grow up to three cannabis plants at home. Non-commercial cultivation associations are also permitted with up to 500 members. The second pillar provides for cannabis specialty shops. The licensed delivery in shops is to be tested first in model regions.
