With this promise, the Berlin start-up Juicy Fields attracted more than 180,000 small investors worldwide between 2020 and 2022. The start-up used their money to sponsor the largest cannabis trade fairs in the world, gave away luxury cars to visitors, and champagne flowed freely at opulent after-show parties. Juicy Fields positioned itself as a big player in the cannabis market.
