“Callas – Paris, 1958” in the cinema: wonders of the world in color – culture

Maria Callas, who would have turned 100 this Saturday, sang opera for the last time in July 1965. Anyone who couldn’t be there back then and hasn’t experienced them in the years since their debut in 1944 missed out on a wonder of the world. So far you could at least guess that from her many sound recordings and some black and white films. But now everyone can experience the truth of the wonder of the world, at least this weekend and in selected cinemas (dates and locations can be found in the web).
