Call for witnesses after violence on the sidelines of an amateur rugby match

The Aude national gendarmerie has launched a call for witnesses for the incidents that occurred on October 1 on the sidelines of rugby matches (of the first team and the reserve) between the Fleury-Salles-Coursan agreement and the Foyer Laïque Haut-Vernet from Perpignan. That day, at the end of a Regional 1 match of the Occitanie territorial championship, violent fights broke out as the players left and at the foot of the stands.

“People who participated in this sporting event, as players, managers or spectators, are invited to contact the investigating services,” specifies the military. But also “any person who witnessed and/or filmed any actions that day”.
