Borussia Dortmund expects Corona restrictions before the top game against Bayern and is therefore canceling tickets and advance sales. 67,000 tickets had already been sold.

Borussia Dortmund cancels tickets that have already been sold for the top game against FC Bayern Munich on Saturday. The reason for this is that the Bundesliga club expects a corona-related reduction in stadium capacity by the state government in the coming days. All 67,000 tickets available for the game on this Saturday based on the current corona protection ordinance of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia had already been sold, according to BVB. The ticket buyers get their money back.

“As soon as the political decision about permissible future stadium occupancy in North Rhine-Westphalia has been made and we have reliable information on this matter, we will inform you about the new advance booking,” it said in one Association announcement the Dortmund.

The activation of the seat season tickets originally planned for this week will also not take place and the first season ticket partial amount will therefore not be debited, according to BVB.
