Buy PS5: Current situation on December 19. – Which dealers get supplies?

The situation around the PS5 remains difficult. Before Christmas, the desire for a console increased again. You should keep an eye on these dealers.

Update from December 19, 2021: It’s always pretty quiet around the PS5 on weekends. Since the release there have been next to no sales over the weekend. In return, some fans could look forward to successful purchases last week. Spielegrotte as well as OTTO, MyToys and MediaMarkt and Saturn had consoles in stock.

Amazon and Expert, on the other hand, haven’t sold a PlayStation 5 for weeks. So there could possibly be a drop there soon. But don’t let MediaMarkt and Saturn disappear from your field of vision. As many drops as there were last at the two dealers, there could very well be another one before Christmas. We will keep you up to date should it be available for purchase at MediaMarkt and Saturn PS5.

Update from December 18, 2021: At the weekend it is traditionally rather quiet around the PS5. In the last week, however, many fans were able to buy the console from OTTO, MediaMarkt or Saturn. MyToys also surprised with a drop. The dealers had a lot of supplies in their luggage.

But the Christmas business is not over yet. At the moment, all eyes are on Amazon. The last drop of the shipping giant is already 50 days ago. Accordingly, a PS5 sale is still expected on Amazon: Buy PS5 on Amazon. Nobody can guarantee the drop, but it is not entirely unlikely. We will keep you up to date on this.

Hamburg – Christmas is just around the corner and many retailers have just sold a mighty PS5 from Sony. However, thousands of fans are still waiting for the coveted console. This is the current situation around the PS5: The pre-Christmas season was pretty productive. MediaMarkt and Saturn in particular are currently emerging as winners from the waves of sales. They brought three pretty big drops in December and there is currently a pre-order campaign at MediaMarkt and Saturn.

Otherwise, OTTO, MyToys, Spielegrotte, GameStop and Real also sold the PS5 in December. The big loser so far is Amazon. Fans there have been waiting for new consoles for almost two months. The current overview of all dealers and the chances of replenishment can be found here:

Buy PS5: Which retailers could the bell ring again before Christmas?

Where could there be more supplies? Most of the eyes are currently on Amazon. With Amazon Prime, you could bring supplies to the market shortly before Christmas and then deliver them on time for the festival. So far, the console dry spell at Amazon has never been so long. So replenishment is more than overdue and could actually still be due until Christmas.

There are still bigger opportunities at ComputerUniverse, MediMax, Expert and Müller. At all four shops, insiders spoke of a drop before Christmas. Whether this will actually happen is of course questionable – but not unlikely. We’ll keep you posted and update this article daily.
