“Believe in yourselves! Say to yourself: I can do this and I can do it.” That is the message from Jasmin Arbabian-Vogel. The managing partner of a company active in the care sector in Hanover is considered a “role model entrepreneur”. She is one of more than 200 women entrepreneurs from all over Germany who advertise self-employment in events with mostly young women. The initiative “Women Enterprises” launched by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy is intended to encourage female founders. Because women often have to overcome even more hurdles than men when setting up a company.
