Rapper Bushido argues in court with his former business partner Arafat Abou-Chaker for money. The latter should now pay more than two million to Bushido.

A Berlin civil court has sentenced Arafat Abou-Chaker to pay millions to rapper Bushido. This was confirmed by a court spokeswoman when asked star. The “Bild” newspaper had previously reported. The musician, whose real name is Anis Ferchichi, is said to receive around 2.2 million euros from the clan boss. Accordingly, there is a so-called “default judgment” against Abou-Chaker. Default judgments are always made when defendants fail to appear at the court hearing.

The process has nothing to do with the ongoing criminal proceedings of both parties. According to the court, Abou-Chaker had filed a civil suit and demanded a share of Bushido’s income based on the invoices he had prepared. The basis for this is a kind of management agreement between the two. The musicians have again filed a counterclaim. He did not want to make the required payments and also demanded back funds that had flowed from the past.

Bushido appeared in court on Thursday, but the other side around Abou-Chaker did not. The court then made a default judgment and dismissed Abou-Chaker’s lawsuit. Bushido’s counterclaim, on the other hand, was upheld, which means that Abou-Chaker is obliged to repay the alleged shares that have already been made. “Since a default judgment is issued without justification, there is no conclusive determination as to the validity of a contract,” says the statement.

Arafat Abou-Chaker: Million repayment to Bushido

First, the “image” reported on the verdict. Bushido, on the other hand, traveled from his new place of residence Dubai to Berlin especially for the negotiation, as the newspaper further reports. According to the court, clan boss Abou-Chaker has a period of two weeks for a possible objection. Otherwise, the judgment would become final and the high repayment would be due. The Berlin judiciary has been dealing with the separation of the rapper and the clan boss for years. A criminal trial against Arafat Abou-Chaker and three of his co-defendant brothers began on August 17, 2020 in the regional court. The public prosecutor’s office accuses the accused of, among other things, deprivation of liberty, attempted severe extortion, coercion, dangerous bodily harm, insult and infidelity.
