Buses will stop in support of eight assaulted controllers

No public transport for an hour. Thursday, in Saint-Nazaire, the buses will be stopped between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m., and disruptions are to be expected between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., warns the management of the Stran. The reason for this interruption of regular lines? A mobilization of staff, organized “in support of the eight controllers attacked”.

Last month, during a ticket check, these agents were threatened and attacked by a man who had pulled out a knife whose blade measured about twenty centimeters. Some of them had been slightly injured, reports the newspaper Ocean Press.

The Espace Mobilité commercial agencies will also be closed, and a gathering of staff will be held at the depot, warns the Stran. At the same time, the attacker, aged 37, will be tried for violence and threats before the court of Saint-Nazaire.
