Bus traffic disrupted by an invasion of cockroaches

Neither strike nor depot burned by rioters, but an invasion of cockroaches… Traffic on 24 Marseille bus lines was severely disrupted on Tuesday due to a proliferation of these insects, reports Provence.

All the lines affected have in common the fact that they have the La Rose depot as their depot. The strong heat of the last few days coupled with the intense rains of June have favored the laying of eggs of these insects which like to slip into hot and humid places that the nooks and pipes of buses can offer.

The RTM processed the 200 vehicles from the depot which were able to resume normal service on Wednesday.
