Bus drivers refuse to serve the Pissevin district

This is one more step in the isolation of Pissevin, in Nîmes. Since Tuesday afternoon, Transdev buses, delegatee of the Tango network, have no longer been circulating in the Gard prefecture district, the scene of a turf war between drug traffickers. “The diversion put in place on the day of [précédents] shots [dimanche], was not renewed this week. We cannot accept being sacrificed on the altar of the authorities’ inability to put an end to these scenes of war. We refuse to trivialize the unacceptable,” warns CFDT Tango, which filed a social alarm on Tuesday.

A meeting between the services of the prefecture and those of the Agglo of Nîmes is planned for this Wednesday. In the meantime, buses will no longer run in the neighborhood. In addition to the fear of being victims of a stray bullet, employees also speak of stones being thrown on board buses and an insecurity that makes their mission increasingly dangerous.
