Burkina Faso – New government announced – Politics

In the midst of a worsening security situation, Burkina Faso is getting a new government. President Roch Kaboré dismissed his Prime Minister Christophe Dabire after he submitted his resignation. The decision was read out without comment on the evening news of the crisis-ridden Sahel state. Dabire then called on citizens to support President Kaboré “and the new government that will be set up”. Burkina Faso has a population of 21 million and is in a crisis because of climate change and increasing Islamist terror. More than a million residents are considered internally displaced.
