They are said to have taken part in Nazi marches, to have been active in the Identitarian Movement or the “One Percent” association: since research by the Bavarian Radio stated this week that more than 100 employees from the right-wing extremist camp are said to be employed in the AfD parliamentary group, the Bundestag is pressing ahead with its work on stricter rules to protect parliament. Bundestag President Bärbel Bas (SPD) wants to meet with the chairmen of the security-related committees next week. The aim is likely to be to make it even more difficult for extremists to access and pay, but also to keep weapons out of the Bundestag more strictly.
