After the transfer coup with the commitment of national player Robin Gosens, 1. FC Union is planning further purchases.

1. FC Union is planning to sign national players after the transfer coup Robin Gosen’s other purchases.

They are not yet one hundred percent happy, said professional football manager Oliver Ruhnert in the podcast “kicker meets DAZN”. “We still lack a bit of mentality and a bit of life in the team,” he said.

In recent years, in which the Irons have repeatedly improved in the table even after promotion to the Bundesliga in 2019 and will even compete in the Champions League in the coming season, the collective was the key to success. They have now got one or the other player who is great in sport and will also help them, “but in the end it always takes a team, not just the individual quality of the individual,” said Ruhnert.

On Tuesday, the Unioners had set an exclamation mark with Gosens’ commitment. The 29-year-old international switched from Champions League finalists Inter Milan to Berlin-Köpenick for allegedly 15 million euros. In addition, Union should agree with AS Monaco about a change from national player Kevin Volland. There is also speculation about a transfer from Italy’s European champion Leonardo Bonucci.

Ruhnert did not name names. But he announced: “We’ll get more players. Those are the players we wanted to get. It’s just dragging on a bit.”
