SC Freiburg and Eintracht Frankfurt split 1-1 (0-1) in the chasing duel. Meanwhile, Bayer Leverkusen continued their race to catch up with their fifth win in a row in a 2-0 (1-0) win over VfL Bochum. FC Augsburg defeated Borussia Mönchengladbach 1-0 (0-0).
