The Bundesliga is back!
Open after the international break Borussia Dortmund and Werder Bremen’s eighth Bundesliga matchday. It starts in Signal Iduna Park (Dortmund) at 8.30 p.m.
BVB is in this Bundesliga season still unbeaten, recently there were even three wins in a row. With a home win against Bremen, Dortmund would jump to the top of the table, at least for one night.

Especially for Niclas Füllkrug (30) and Niklas Süle (28), who played with the national team against Mexico on the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, there wasn’t much time to regenerate. But not a big problem for Füllkrug:
“I have played a lot at BVB in the last few weeks and also started a lot of games. Actually, it shouldn’t be a problem to play two games in such a short time. Afterwards there will be enough time to regenerate before the Champions League game against Newcastle.”
Werder travels as 14th in the table. with 17 goals conceded after seven games in the baggage to the Ruhr area. The defense in particular has led to criticism of coach Ole Werner (35). Bremen attacker Marvin Ducksch (29) cannot understand that. “I clearly have to protect him. We all really enjoy working with him. He’ll definitely take us further.”
