“Stayed within striking distance”: BVB happy with point win

Borussia Dortmund accepts the 3:3 after five previous wins. Because they remain in the top quartet of the Bundesliga and are already unbeaten 17 times.

He does not see the use of goalkeeper Gregor Kobel, who had to be replaced after a blow to the head, at risk. “I don’t think the injury is dramatic. He was hit in the face,” said Kehl. There was initially no diagnosis for the injury to Mats Hummel, who suffered a blow to the calf and also had to leave the field in his 350th Bundesliga game for BVB. Captain Emre Can was spared after an injury. Offensive player Felix Nmecha was missing due to muscular problems.
