Augsburg also had a quick response to the third Gladbach goal by Nathan Ngoumou (37′) with a goal from Maximilian Bauer (41′). Sven Michel (45+7) scored the equalizer with a penalty kick even before the break. Rubén Vargas (76′) seemed to have finally turned the game around, but Cvancara’s penalty kick (90’+7′) equalized again late on.
