Report: Hoeneß supports criticism of Bayern coach Tuchel

A dispute between Hoeneß and Tuchel overshadowed the preparation for the Champions League semi-final against Real. The honorary president once again emphasizes his criticism of the coach.
After the great excitement of the weekend about Uli Hoeneß’s strong criticism of the coach Thomas Tuchel, the honorary president of FC Bayern, has followed up.
The record champion’s long-time club patron told “Kicker” that he stood by his statement that Tuchel would rather buy new players than make young footballers better. Tuchel was hurt by Hoeneß’s statements made during a panel discussion and objected vigorously.
Hoeneß said on Monday, according to “Kicker,” that his sentences had been exaggerated by the media. In terms of content, however, he stands by the statement. And what’s more: The long-time Munich maker and current member of the supervisory board of FC Bayern said that he would continue to make such requests to speak in the future, even if they cause a stir within the club. He therefore announced that he was “determined to make my opinion clearer again.”
