BVB is also having a hard time at SC Freiburg, but you can rely on Mats Hummels. Cup winners RB Leipzig, on the other hand, decide their game in the first half hour.

Mats Hummels saved Borussia Dortmund from another setback in the Bundesliga. The central defender scored late in the 4:2 (1:2) win at SC Freiburg and secured the second win of the season. Cup winners RB Leipzig reduced the gap to league leaders Bayer Leverkusen and FC Bayern to one point with a 3-0 (3-0) against FC Augsburg and leads a chasing quartet.

Also VfB Stuttgart after the 3:1 (0:0) at FSV Mainz 05, the TSG Hoffenheim after the 3:1 (2:0) at 1. FC Köln and VfL Wolfsburg after the 2:1 (2:1 ) against 1. FC Union Berlin have nine points in their account. Dortmund follows with eight points.

Hummels (11th) gave BVB the lead after a corner. Dortmund were clearly superior afterwards. Hoffenheim’s Andrej Kramarić was the early spoilsport at the 100th anniversary celebrations of the stadium in the Müngersdorf district of Cologne. The Croatian scored after 50 seconds. Florian Grillitsch (28th) took spectacular advantage of a mistake by Cologne goalkeeper Marvin Schwäbe and scored with a shot from the halfway line – according to the pay-TV broadcaster Sky from 55.6 meters.
