According to a media report, Bundesliga club TSG 1899 Hoffenheim is about to sign Pellegrino Matarazzo.
According to a media report, Bundesliga club TSG 1899 Hoffenheim is about to sign Pellegrino Matarazzo.
The 45-year-old is to take over as head coach and successor to André Breitenreiter at the Kraichgauers, as the “kicker” reports. The decision seems to have already been made, and Matarazzo’s commitment is about to be announced.
The Hoffenheim team had only announced the separation from Breitenreiter the day before, who was without a win in the tenth competitive game in a row at 2: 5 at VfL Bochum and subsequently had to leave after a little more than half a year in office. Matarazzo also has a past as an assistant coach and youth coach at TSG. Most recently, he worked in the Bundesliga at VfB Stuttgart, where he had to leave in October 2022.
