Robert Lewandowski has been pushing for his move to FC Barcelona for weeks. But FC Bayern seems to continue to insist on compliance with the contract. A new offer is probably too small.

According to “Bild” information, FC Bayern Munich does not want to accept an allegedly increased transfer offer from FC Barcelona for world footballer Robert Lewandowski.

The top Spanish club is said to have offered a transfer fee of 40 million euros and a bonus of 5 million euros for the Polish national soccer player. As reported by “Bild” without citing sources, FC Bayern will not accept this offer. Official statements are not yet available.

Final offer?

The Spanish newspaper “Sport” had reported that it was Barça’s final offer for the 33-year-old striker. The club wants to advance the negotiations with the Munich team in a timely manner and hopes for an agreement in July

“I don’t know about a new offer. But based on the situation in Munich, which I have heard in several conversations, Barcelona can save themselves another offer, »said Bayern Honorary President Uli Hoeneß on the sidelines of the «Neuland» future congress in Aachen.

“I don’t decide that. But FC Bayern’s statements were clear. They state that Robert should fulfill the contract in Munich. I can’t imagine there being an amount that would make us weak,” added the 70-year-old.

Lewandowski’s contract with Munich runs until June 30, 2023. The striker had repeatedly stated that he wanted to leave the German champions this year. The goalscorer’s goal is FC Barcelona. So far, there is still a statement from the Bayern management around CEO Oliver Kahn that the world footballer will not be allowed to go this summer.
