Gnabry took part again for the first time after breaking his forearm, the Dutchman de Ligt seems to have overcome his knee problems. Both could be options again for the Bundesliga game of the German record champions on Saturday evening (6.30 p.m./Sky) at FSV Mainz 05. National goalkeeper Manuel Neuer also trained. After a month-long injury break, the 37-year-old could perhaps celebrate his comeback with the Rheinhessen team.
A large part of the Munich squad is currently on international travel, which is why coach Thomas Tuchel had numerous amateurs train. Among the professionals, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, who sat out the Cameroon international matches, was also there. Alphonso Davies was also on the pitch after his return from the Canadian national team.
