FC Bayern Munich is still in crisis. A personal is now probably off the table.

According to dpa information, Axel Hellmann, spokesman for the board of Eintracht Frankfurt, will not switch to German record champions FC Bayern Munich. This is also reported by several Frankfurt media unanimously.

Accordingly, there was no concrete exchange between Bayern and Hellmann about a successor to CEO Oliver Kahn. The 51-year-old Hellmann is also being discussed as the new head of the German Football League. Hellmann is still an interim DFL managing director with equal rights with Oliver Leki from Freiburg until the end of June.

Apparently, Eintracht wants to offer their board spokesman a new contract to keep him. Hellmann’s contract with Eintracht runs until 2027. According to media reports, the lawyer wants to decide on his future before the DFL general meeting on May 24th. Then the 36 professional clubs vote on an investor joining the DFL.

Hellmann had been traded in Munich for a possible successor to CEO Oliver Kahn at Bayern Munich. A possible successor to Kahn has already been discussed in the past few days in view of the sporting crisis in Munich. Among other things, the former DFL managing director Christian Seifert was in the conversation.
