Coach Thomas Tuchel has received a job guarantee even after the third competitive defeat in a row with FC Bayern. But he knows that there will still be discussions about him.

Trainer Thomas Tuchel from FC Bayern Munich is expecting intensive discussions about himself in the next few days, despite the clear job guarantee from his boss Jan-Christian Dreesen.

Dreesen’s confession was “of course nice,” said Tuchel after the 2-3 defeat in the Bundesliga at VfL Bochum, the third competitive defeat in a row: “I doubt whether that helps that the discussions don’t take place. ” And then he added directly to the journalists: “But that’s not a problem. You can do that. That’s the business.”

The discussions about him and his job have been going on “for what feels like the whole season. Even when we won games,” Tuchel said almost defiantly: “For a few weeks now, I’ve reached the point where I don’t care anymore affected. I concentrate on what I can influence. That’s the only recipe I know.”

Dreesen initially responded awkwardly when asked about the coach. He doesn’t think “of these monstrous statements of support for trainers” because “these oaths of loyalty are usually over after a week.” But he also said: “This is not an issue that we are currently dealing with.” And especially when asked whether Tuchel would still be Bayern coach next week, he said clearly: “Of course.”
