The completion of Raphael Guerreiro’s move from Borussia Dortmund to FC Bayern Munich is getting closer and closer.
According to Sky and “Bild”, the 29-year-old Portuguese arrived for the medical check on Thursday morning. Supervisory Board Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and President Herbert Hainer had previously confirmed the change of the European soccer champion from 2016. The arrival of midfielder Konrad Laimer from RB Leipzig is already official.
Guerreiro, who can play as a left-back or in defensive midfield, announced his departure from Borussia Dortmund after the end of the season. The 29-year-old is available on a free transfer and has already worked with Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel at BVB. He is to sign a three-year contract in Munich until 2026.
