Borussia Dortmund has shown an upward trend with two league wins in a row. But coach Edin Terzic still sees room for improvement.

Trainer Edin Terzic still sees a lot of development potential at Borussia Dortmund after two wins in a row in the Bundesliga.

“The points are actually okay. But there’s a bit of lightness and a bit of magic missing,” said Terzic the day before the game at TSG Hoffenheim (Friday, 8.30 p.m./DAZN), who had one point more with twelve points after five matchdays has than BVB.

“If you see that we played the first three games way too openly and then look at the last two games, we are on the right track,” said Terzic: “We know that we still have room for improvement. But we will “We can also manage to play exciting football soon.”

No answers to personnel questions

Like all other personnel questions, Terzic did not want to answer whether captain Emre Can would be back in the team after six changes before the 1-0 win against VfL Wolfsburg last week. “Emre is an important player for us and especially for me as a coach,” said Terzic: “Nevertheless, I won’t reveal what I will decide.”

However, it can be assumed that Can’s predecessor Marco Reus, who scored the winning goal in the starting eleven comeback after four competitive games on the bench, will be allowed to start again. “He earned the chance through good short appearances and took advantage of the opportunity,” said his coach.
