As expected, national coach Julian Nagelsmann has to play the last international matches of the year without Jamal Musiala. A colleague could benefit.

National soccer player Jamal Musiala is out for the last international matches of the year. According to “Bild” and Sport1, the FC Bayern offensive player suffered a small torn muscle fiber in his left rear thigh.

A break of around two weeks is expected. The 20-year-old will also be missing from Munich in the Bundesliga against 1. FC Heidenheim on Saturday.

Injured when moving quickly

In the 2-1 Champions League win against Galatasaray Istanbul, Musiala indicated that he had to be substituted after a quick movement in the penalty area shortly before half-time. This was the third time Musiala suffered a muscle injury this year. Thomas Müller came on for him in the 40th minute. He could also benefit from the loss in the national team.

National coach Julian Nagelsmann’s DFB selection will play against Turkey in Berlin on November 18th. In the last international match of the year, the DFB selection will face Austria three days later in Vienna.

After the Heidenheim game, Musiala is likely to miss the league game on November 24th in Cologne after the international break. The offensive player could be available again for the premier class home game against Copenhagen five days later.
