Bavaria continues to win – excitement about non-vaccinated Kimmich

FC Bayern won their game against TSG Hoffenheim in a superior manner. Just like Hertha BSC Berlin, where the crisis should be over. There is excitement about Bayern professional Joshua Kimmich, who has not yet been vaccinated.
Hertha BSC has celebrated its second win in a row and thus ended the crisis talk for the time being. On the 9th matchday of the Bundesliga, the Berliners prevailed 1-0 (1-0) against Borussia Mönchengladbach and overtook the opponent in tenth place thanks to their fourth success of the season in the table. In front of 25,000 spectators in the Olympic Stadium, Marco Richter (40th minute) scored the decisive goal and gave his coach Pal Dardai more job security. The Gladbachers, who were previously unbeaten three times and are twelfth in the table by one point, did not gain any self-confidence for the cup hit against FC Bayern Munich on Wednesday.
Successful even without Nagelsmann
He, in turn, celebrated a sovereign victory in the Bundesliga even without coach Julian Nagelsmann. Three days after the 4-0 win in the Champions League at Benfica Lisbon, the German soccer record champions won 4-0 (2-0) against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim without their chief coach, who was suffering from Corona. The table runner-up Borussia Dortmund came after the premier class bankruptcy in Amsterdam with the 3-1 (2-0) at Arminia Bielefeld again to a sense of achievement. After falling behind, RB Leipzig turned the game against bottom of the table Greuther Fürth and won 4: 1 (0: 1).
However, VfL Wolfsburg suffered another setback after the Champions League defeat at RB Salzburg on Saturday. Lower Saxony lost 2-0 (0-1) against SC Freiburg. This means that coach Mark van Bommel’s team has been without a win for eight competitive games, and the pressure on the Dutchman is likely to increase. The Freiburg team remain undefeated in the league and climbed to third place behind BVB and leaders Bayern.
Joshua wants to make a statement about not being vaccinated
Serge Gnabry (16th), Robert Lewandowski (30th), Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (82nd) and Kingsley Coman (87th) met in Munich and gave national goalkeeper Manuel Neuer the 300th Bundesliga victory of his career. Another topic caused discussions even before the kick-off. Sports director Hasan Salihamidzic announced that national player Joshua Kimmich will provide information about the latest speculations about his vaccination status.
When asked in an interview with Sky TV station whether it was true that Kimmich was one of five unvaccinated players at Bayern, Salihamidzic replied: “Of course I won’t say anything, but Jo will comment on it later.” The “Bild” had previously reported that Kimmich was not vaccinated against Covid-19.
RB Leipzig had a hard time
At first the Leipzigers had a harder time, who even fell behind shortly before the break. Branimir Hrgota converted a penalty for the bottom of the table from Fürth in the 45th minute. But after the change, Yussuf Poulsen (46th), Emil Forsberg (53rd / penalty kick), Dominik Szoboszlai (65th) and Hugo Novoa (88th) turned the game in favor of the now strong Saxons.
Disillusionment, however, again in Wolfsburg: Philipp Lienhart (27th) and Lucas Höler (68th) shot the wolves even deeper into the crisis and ensured the continuation of their own successful streak with their goals.
