A dispute between Hoeneß and Tuchel overshadowed the preparation for the Champions League semi-final against Real. The honorary president underlines his criticism, Tuchel has other things in mind.

Before the Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid Thomas Tuchel does not deal with the criticism reiterated by Uli Hoeneß.

“Real Madrid,” said Tuchel, tapping his head. “There is only Real Madrid left.” He doesn’t say anything more about the Hoeneß criticism. “The issue has been ticked off,” emphasized Tuchel the day before the semi-final first leg this Tuesday (9 p.m./Prime Video).

Hoeneß confirmed

After the great excitement of the weekend, the honorary president of FC Bayern did not let the topic rest. The record champion’s long-time club patron told “Kicker” that he stood by his statement that Tuchel would rather buy new players than make young footballers better. On Saturday, Tuchel was hurt by Hoeneß’s statements made during a panel discussion on Friday and objected vigorously.

Hoeneß said on Monday, according to “Kicker,” that his sentences had been exaggerated by the media. In terms of content, however, he stands by the statement. The long-time Munich leader said that he would continue to make such requests to speak in the future, even if they caused a stir within the club. Supervisory board member Hoeneß announced that he was “determined to make my opinion clearer again.”

Kimmich: We noticed “the fire”.

The stars do not want to be influenced by the dispute between Hoeneß and Tuchel or by speculation about Ralf Rangnick as the new coach in their preparation for the premier class clash. When asked about disruptive fire, Kimmich said: “Of course we noticed the fire, but it doesn’t really affect us players at the moment. For us, it’s the game tomorrow and next week that counts.” Don’t let anything get in the way. “The focus is very clear,” said the 29-year-old on Monday.
