Bayern Munich back at the top
FC Bayern Munich has once again taken over the top of the Bundesliga table with a shooting festival. The Munich team won 7-0 over VfL Bochum, with Harry Kane scoring three goals in the decisive victory. The record champions are now one point ahead of VfB Stuttgart, RB Leipzig and TSG Hoffenheim and three points ahead of Leverkusen. Bayer awaits promoted team 1. FC Heidenheim on Sunday and could displace Munich again with a big win.
According to sports director Fabian Wohlgemuth, no one stands out in the surprise team VfB Stuttgart. “You can no longer argue away the good start,” said the 44-year-old after the success against the newly promoted SV Darmstadt 98, who are still without a win. “But the fact remains that we have things under control and that everyone is staying on the ground.
