After being eliminated from the Conference League against Belgian first division club Union Saint-Gilloise (1:2), the sixth consecutive competitive game without a win is putting further pressure on Eintracht Frankfurt in their pursuit of a European Cup place. With the 2-2 draw against VfL Wolfsburg, the sixth-place team missed out on the victory they were hoping for.

The Bundesliga game between Eintracht Frankfurt and VfL Wolfsburg had to be interrupted shortly after the break. “Tennis balls on the field,” the Frankfurters said on X. After a seven-minute break, the score continued at 2-1 for Wolfsburg.
